Heritage Walk – Brixton’s Blue Plaques

Brixton’s Blue Plaques. Around the middle of Brixton there are many plaques – blue and otherwise – commemorating notable people and events. Find out about them on this walk.


London’s famous blue plaques link the people of the past with the buildings of the present. Now run by English Heritage, the London blue plaques scheme was started in Protected content is thought to be the oldest of its kind in the world.
