Special 10th Anniversary: Hike to Monte Morello and Party!

Dear group,

ten years and 79 excursions have gone and it's now time to celebrate!

We can't skip a walk however, and we will be exploring a portion of the Florentine mountain, Monte Morello, by a ring path starting from Colonnata, a fraction of Sesto Fiorentino.

From villa Ginori, we will enter the famous Viottolone Ginori, a straight, steep boulevard of mighty cypresses.

The itinerary will unfold hillside, reaching a spring and some waterfalls, and eventually get to Carmignanello, with its tower houses and the ancient church of Saint Bartholomew.

Going down to Quinto Alto, we will cross an Etruscan necropolis and eventually reach the park of Villa Solaria, from where we will get back to the starting point and close the loop.

After the walk, we will celebrate with a larger group the 10th anniversary in the small garden of my house, enjoying food and beverage from your own countries - instructions will be provided!
