Královská Obora Stromovka

Královská Obora, the Royal Game Reserve, known to you and I as Stromovka. Originally created as a game reserve for the summer palace, over time the park evolved into an English landscape garden. The parkland consists of wooded areas with many types of exotic trees, meadows and a system of small ponds. It is protected as a natural monument as well as a cultural monument.

The walk will be a series of loops through the parkland finishing at Prague's newest brewery, Pivovar Kolkovna. The pivovar has two beer gardens, one of which is covered and a restaurant. The larger of the two beer gardens also has a stage and dance floor. Come and join us on the walk, or if not, for the food, locally brewed beer, pleasant conversation and possibly dancing afterwards. The reservation is in my name.
