Meaningful Conversations About Expat Life

Dear InterNations members,
I am Tilly Takano, and I am pleased to invite you to an in-person event that will address the topic we all share - life as an expat in Japan. I am living here since more than two decades and would like to share my thoughts with peers like you.
Looking to connect with like-minded internationals over a relaxed coffee? Join us for a friendly lunch at the cozy and stylish Protected content
– a space to share stories, ideas, and reflections on the many facets of expat life.
This casual get-together invites globally minded people to engage in meaningful conversations about expat life — from everyday cultural surprises to personal growth, life transitions, and the small (and big) wins of living abroad. You’re welcome to bring your thoughts, questions, or simply an open heart and listening ear.
I’ll offer a few light conversation prompts.
- What surprised you most about living in Japan?
- What are the biggest challenges you face?
No pressure to share more than you feel comfortable — it’s all about connection in a relaxed, respectful atmosphere ☕
Please order at least one drink or food.
They offer a vegetarian dish.
