Let's have an awesome time at The Tulip Festival at Protected content on Spring Grove, IL (about 6 miles from Fox Lake) this Saturday. An awesome weather is forecasted for the weekend!

. Beautiful, private lakefront location.
. Food trucks, beer and wine, and free use of picnic tables near the lakefront.
. Plentiful free parking
. Walking train along the lake
. Free games to play - giant checkers, jenga, cornhole, etc.
. Live music

The tulips are still looking wonderful! With the cooler, cloudy weather last week, the tulips stayed in very good condition. The bloom will be excellent through at least Sunday, May 11th...Mother's Day! The early 100,000 tulips have faded, the mid season 400,000 still look really good, and 50,000 are just opening up.
