A Saturday in Chinatown
The Chinese New Year fell on Tuesday, February 17. This is a great excuse to go to Chinatown to see how they're preparing for the Lunar New Year parade.
We will meet at a museum, then walk to see the main icons of the neighborhood and get some snacks or find a place to eat so we can talk about the Year of the Fire Horse.
The Fire Horse symbolizes rapid change, transformation, and volatility - favoring bold, fast-paced growth and requiring careful management of intense energy all year. How will that affect your Chinese zodiac sign? Come and find out!
We will NOT see the parade because that's scheduled for Sunday, March 1.
PS - the museum is free of charge but a donation of $8 is suggested/appreciated. Then we will loosely follow this self-guided tour: Protected content
