Donuts and Pet Adoption

Have you been thinking about adopting a pet?

I have. A lot. And it's time I do it.

If you're curious, join me at this great place for donuts. We can get coffee, talk about our fears, expectations, doubts, preparedness, preferences... all the things.

Then, let's walk to one of Chicago's animal shelters where I have made an adoption appointment to meet my best-matched adoptable pets.

While I do that, anyone else who is interested can ask about the adoption process and see the dogs and cats they have available.

There is NO obligation for you to adopt a pet. Maybe you're not ready. But if you've been thinking about it, you are welcome to come along and see what it's all about.

PS - as soon as I am a dog owner, many of my events will involve pet-friendly places where we can socialize together. If you already have a dog, I'll be looking forward to seeing you both!
