Celebrate Labor Day weekend exploring Chicago's labor & industrial heritage and join me this Sunday at the Kinzie corridor.
Meet me for coffee and a bite to eat to gather ourselves before we join my favorite non-profit on a 2-hour walking tour.
The walking tour of the Kinzie Industrial District will explore the history, architecture, and development of vintage industrial properties. Once home to the city's first railroad line and companies like Heinz and Dixie Cups, today it's home to breweries, business incubators, coffee roasters, arts & cultural organizations, and boutique construction companies.
After the walking tour, we can get a drink with the tour or go have lunch on our own.
