Relaxing Sunday Walk

Sunday walk to the Whiteknights Lake and Campus, the principal campus of the University of Reading, including a walk around the Lake and drinks and/or lunch at the Park House, one of the historic houses of the former Whiteknights Park Estate.

The University of Reading purchased Whiteknights Park in Protected content today it is the home of most of the academic departments and six halls of residence.

We will walk around the Whiteknights Lake, taking advantage of the green spaces it has to offer and the biodiversity of the Campus. The nature trail is marked by a series of signs around some of the notable habitats on the Whiteknights campus, with information about the habitat and the species that can be found there.

Then we will head to the Park House, where you can enjoy a drink or some food looking over the meadow. The menu at the Park House, includes delicious daily specials and a range of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
