In order to be on the flow of Japanese culture, for those willing to have a drink before, we will be meeting at O-Komé - Onigiri Saké Mochi - Epicerie Japonaise, 34 Rue Dauphine, Protected content at 4:15 pm before the play. We can have a small Japanese Onigiri, sake or some desserts.

Kyōgen is a form of traditional Japanese comic theater. It developed alongside Noh, was performed along with Noh as an intermission of sorts between Noh acts on the same stage. Kyōgen is a comic form, and its primary goal is to make its audience laugh.

Kyōgen is sometimes compared to the Italian comic form of commedia dell'arte, which developed around the same period (14th century) and likewise features stock characters. It also has parallels with the Greek satyr play, a short, comical play performed between tragedies.

The 2 plays will be « l’esprit d’orages » ( 雷 ) and« le trafic des blaireaux »( 隠狸 ). They will be held in Japanese with French translation.

We will have a drink before the play for those interested (the play is at 6 pm). Please let me know if you will be interested for the drink.
We wil be meeting at 5:45 pm inside in front of the entrance of the performance hall (after the stairs).
