Cycling and Wine Tasting in Malepère - Le Fort
Come and join us for a great cycling and wine tasting event. We will start from Bellegarde and do around 35 km with a stop at a prestigious winery for a wine tasting session. This is a fairly easy ride, almost exclusively on the voie verte cycle way, gentle slopes, no cars, open to beginner cyclists as long as you are happy being in the saddle for a few hours and steady incline for the return. Effortless if you have an ebike.
We will meet at my home, so a quick bike setup and then ride straight to the winery which is about 1hour away. The tasting session with visit is at 11:00 am, leaving the longer part of the ride for the return. You will need an off-road bike as there will be some rough surfaces. I have some e-bikes and normal bikes available for loan with a small charge to cover maintenance costs.
Returning to my home we can have some lunch as an "auberge espagnole", (everybody brings something to eat and drink).
