Sunday Run + Brunch in Greenwich Park
Dear Running friends,
Our Sunday group run is back! Let's meet again on Sunday for an easy run through one of the most historic and beautiful parks of London: Greenwich!
Greenwich Park has many alleys and footpaths through the grass, as well as a flower garden and some wild animals. One big round of the park - including going up and down the hill - is about 3km, which is great for making a few loops and returning quickly to a meeting point in case we don't find each other.
We will meet at 10am in front of Café Rouge (see placeholder on the map). The nearest public transport stations are Cutty Sark DLR and Greenwich DLR and Rail.
The plan is to run for about an hour through the park at a slow pace which will allow us to socialize too.
After the run, we can have our usual tasty brunch together at the Café Rouge to talk about races, parks and life in general 🙂
Please write a comment or send me a message until Friday EOD if you are interested in both Run & Brunch so that I can make the necessary arrangements. In case you bring a bag of dry clothes to change, we will kindly ask at the Café to allow us to leave our bags before the run; just make sure not to leave anything valuable.
Recommendations for new parks and routes are welcome!! 😉
Hope to meet many of you on Sunday!
