Wings for Life World Run 2026

Dear London runners,

10th of May is the day when this year's Wings For Life World Run is back.. also known as "The race where you are being chased by a Catcher Car"!

How does it work? Everyone in the world 🌍 starts running at the same time (12PM London time), either tracking their run with the official WFLWR App 📱 or taking part in an organized Flagship Run.

If you are using the App, you have to register and donate £22 to the Wings For Life fund for Spinal Cord Injury research.

When does the race end? The app will tell to each one of us when we have finished the race, meaning that the virtual catcher car has arrived to us.

The cool thing is that all of you can actually participate, no matter if you are in London or not! If you are in London on Sunday and would like to join other participants then you can sign up for the organized app event in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (see link above).

Note: This is a fun run, not a competition. If you are not feeling well before or during the run, please stop and return home.
