One Battle After Another is an action-comedy thriller directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, inspired by Thomas Pynchon’s Protected content Vineland. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, and Regina Hall, the film follows a former revolutionary living off the grid who is drawn back into the fight when a corrupt military regime abducts his daughter.
Explosive, razor-sharp and irresistible, this movie claimed the top spot at the box office this weekend: somewhere between revolution and family melodrama, satire and tragedy, a film that scares and entertains, inspires and disarms.
We’ll meet in front of the cinema at 8:45 p.m., with the option of grabbing a nice ice cream before the movie.
