Utrera Gorge: Roman Baths circular, Manilva

This hike is near Manilva; a circular walk through the spectacular Utrera gorge, 2km along a road section, across open country with views over to Caseres and then into a second gorge, ending at the Roman Baths.
It is 9.7km with Protected content of climb with some rocky sections where you have to use your hands. This is a MODERATE but steady and not too challenging.
For the meeting point Google ‘Manilva Lidl’ which is on the A7 near Playa de Sabinillas. We will meet in the car park at 09.50 leaving at 10.00 prompt. It is a 5 minute drive to the start point. It should take 3.5 hours with stops. Kev will book a cafe at the end.
Bring plenty of water and a snack for the halfway stop.

Appropriate footwear is hiking boots or shoes with a proper deep tread. Trainers with flat soles have caused accidents on our hikes and therefore are no longer permitted.
