Bread Festival in Lenora and a Competition for the Best Goulash

The Bread Festival is held annually in the second half of July in the picturesque town of Lenora in the Bohemian Forest (Šumava).
You can look forward to a bread and pastry baking show in a historical oven, accompanied by a programme with the good soldier Švejk.
A competition for the best goulash, which is cooked fresh on the spot in a pot on the fire and you can taste it. In addition to the classic meat goulash, I will cook and offer a vegan goulash this year.
There will also be a competition for the best bread, a farmer's market, and a classic market.
Four bands will play, majorettes and country dancing during the festival.
The dance party will be from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

PS: Apart from the historic bread oven, other Lenore attractions are the Rechle (covered wooden bridge), the glass museum, the little castle, and the boats sailing down the Vltava River from here. Close by is the Boubín Hill, the Boubín Lake, and the Boubín Forest.
