Female composers of the Ottoman Empire
A TCK (Third culture kid ) is an acronym used to refer those who were raised in a culture outside of their so-called 'native' culture for a significant part of their development years. The experience of being a TCK is unique in that these individuals are moving between cultures before they have had the opportunity to fully develop their personal and cultural identity. Let us TCK's come together on Women's Day to discover the female composers of the Ottoman Empire... with compositions dating back to the Protected content going as late as the 20th century.
The evening will include music of oud, tambour, and oriental sounds, as well as some vocals.
Tickets have come out and cost 20 TL for students and for seniors over the age of 60.
For everyone else, they cost 30 TL, across all categories.
