Michael! the Name Transcending All Borders

A Third Culture Kid is someone whose life has been shaped by the interaction and fusion of multiple nations and cultures.

Amid all this cross-border experiences, there was one name that stood out and remained constant wherever we went: Michael Jackson.

No matter which country we moved to, which culture surrounded us, Michael Jackson was there, and popular and rivetting as ever.

Let us Third Culture Kids, come together to celebrate that shared experience and his extraordinary legacy.
And of course share our experience of MJ across our different backgrounds.

In the country I grew up in, he was so popular that he got banned...and his records sold in the black market. I once "smuggled" a poster of his in the trunk of a car.

Btw, Jaafar Jackson does an amazing job transporting Mj back into this world. Come with your enthusiasm, and as the Turks say, also "bring along a handkerchief" for the tears.

Those who wish can meet at the food court downstairs at 5:30 pm for dinner and conversation. The movie starts at 7 pm.
