ISO 3200 Photowalk - Street Photography at Twilight

Step outside with your camera and learn some new techniques as the light fades and we have to adapt to the changes that the approaching night brings.
This is aimed at those of you wanting to experiment with your camera rather than your phone. With the fading light, it will be advisable to have a fast prime lens between 24mm and 50mm on full frame cameras. If you have an APS-C sensor it will be something like 16mm to 35mm. If you can choose a prime lens all the better. To have a wide aperture like f1.4 would be ideal but anything from f2.8 will be necessary to get the best images. Phone users are always welcome to participate on our practical events.
With the loss of sunlight, we start to see a monochrome world and our attention is drawn to anything with colour in this twilight world.
Your task is to capture one monochromatic image and one brilliantly colourful photo to post on this event.
I will give a full briefing at the Cafe before we start and help you with adapting your camera settings.
Please dress appropriately for the conditions and wear comfortable walking boots. Beware of pickpockets in the area. Keep your bags closed at all times and don’t leave valuables in your outside pockets.
