The Krampusse at the Market
🌟😈 The Krampusse are coming to the Karmeliter market 🎭✨
On December 12, 🗓️, the Krampusse of Nigri Diaboli visit the Karmelitermarkt!
The Krampus Run will take place around 5pm.
Krampus runs are an integral part of the Austrian tradition and take place in many towns and villages at the beginning of December.
Krampusse are the wild companions of St. Nicholas: shaggy, with terrifying masks, horns and chains. The name "Krampus" is often derived from the Middle High German "Krampen" (= claw). During the run, they rattle chains, swing rods and often carry large bells 🔔, their noise is said to drive away the dark season and evil spirits 👻
We will meet at 16:50 p.m.
