Cultural Echoes: Photography Exhibition and Sake Documentary

Dear members,
We are excited to invite you to visit a captivating photography exhibition organized by the Japan Foundation, showcasing selected images of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Japan. These remarkable sites have been recognized for their outstanding cultural and natural significance, including famous landmarks such as the Buddhist temples of Kyoto and Nara, the historic villages of Shirakawa, and the majestic Mount Fuji.
Following the exhibition, we will have the special opportunity to watch a documentary film in Japanese with subtitles, exploring the art of Sake brewing on the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture. This film highlights the history of Sake production, featuring renowned brewers, including the "Four Sake Kings of Noto," and showcases their dedication to preserving this age-old tradition amidst challenges, such as the earthquake that struck the region in Protected content .
Join us for an enriching experience that combines art, history, and culture. We look forward to seeing you there!
The movie will start at 18:30.
