Book club 32: Toni Morrison
The usual electoral district is single-member, but as you all know, sometimes the second most voted gets so many votes that it is not totally fair to discard them.
That's why sometimes the owner of this group likes to consider elected also the second most voted book of an election, as it was the case for the last election and the book:
"The bluest eye" by Toni Morrison.
About this book club:
This book club is purposely informal. The meeting usual agenda is:
19:30: attendees start to arrive, can have a drink and eat something. Free chat.
20:30: the discussion about the book begins. It lasts usually one hour, one hour and a half.
The discussion is usually held in English.
Members who didn't read the book are welcome, provided that they are willing to listen to a discussion about a book they haven't read.
The meeting is usually held in a brasserie in central Paris. The locations details will be updated few days before the meeting, when I will have a confirmation.
