Individuate the Legs! (from the hips) - Strength Yoga Class

For those of you who are in the city, I invite you to some yoga at Templo de Debod!
Most of the time we’re completely unaware of our posture. We don’t stand properly over our feet. We stand with the weight shifted over one leg, or with the knees locked back. Let's dedicate this class to bring awareness to the legs: trying to individuate them from the hips. For a lot of people is very common to visualize the movements of the lower part of the body, legs and hips as they're were just one part. This conception may cause some injuries in the long run, as is very important to strengthen the legs that supports the hips.
We will practice some yoga shapes to strengthening the thighs, to know what's the lateral leg line or the inner leg line to activate the legs in our practice, to protect hamstrings muscles and do some stretching of quads!
This will be a 75mins Hatha-Vinyasa class in English. As previous classes, we will start with a meditation to set our intention, follow my a Hatha-Vinyasa flow, and end with a final meditation.
As usual please bring your mat, water and if you have, some blocks for support.
We will meet at 10.45am to start sharp at 11.00am.
