Keep the Space - Yoga & Meditation Sessions
Finally recovered, let's take time this Saturday to practice our favorite mind-body practice.
Flow your body in different hatha yoga asanas.
The importance of space: as we practice to create space on a yoga mat, our mind and body gain more awareness to create "sukha" space (good space) for our daily life. On the mat, we create space in our body by breathing—we create space in the chest, the back, the belly, the ribs. And as we breathe into different parts of the body, we start visualizing our body as a vessel for our breath.
By lengthening body parts, we expand in a different way than when we are sitting at a desk, or traveling, because on the mat, we use the area around us to expand in our postures.
We will practice a 90 mins Hatha yoga class in English that includes a short meditation and pranayama ending with a relaxing svasana. A full mind/body experience.
All levels are welcome to this practice.
We’ll meet at 11:25hrs at the studio, to start sharp at 11:30hrs. The studio offers some mats but I recommend to bring yours.
Protected content is very convenient located, L2 & L7, Canal station is the easiest way to get there, 5 mins walking.
