Týnec Nad Sázavou: Castle, Bats & Ruins
Join us for a relaxed Saturday escape to the beautiful Sázava River region! We'll travel on the Posázavský motoráček, a charming local train that follows one of the most scenic railway routes in the Czech Republic. We will visit one of the oldest stone castles, enjoy several scenic viewpoints, and finish the day with a meal together before heading back to Prague.
🥾 Planned Route
•Explore Týnec nad Sázavou Castle, including the museum and its famous tower with bats.
•Walk to the romantic ruins of Zbořený Kostelec Castle.
•Enjoy the beautiful panorama from Panská skála Viewpoint.
•Finish the walk in Prosečnice, where we'll have a late lunch together before returning to Prague.
We'll walk approximately 12–14 km at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time for sightseeing, photos and breaks.
We'll have a meal together at the end of the walk .
After lunch, we'll take a train back to Prague. We expect to arrive between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m., depending on the train we catch.
