Walk & Talk: Discover Tokyo
Let's talk in Japanese/English while walking and discovering deep Tokyo! This time, we will dive into areas of:
Protected content --> Jinbo-cho --> Ochanomizu (Option: -> Akihabara)
If you want to practice your Japanese or English, please speak out and ask for help using items you discovered!
Walking Course:
1. Hakuzan Street:
A short street for Ramen, hot pot, or ethnic restaurants. (we will walk - no eating)
2. Okuno Karuta Shop:
"Karuta" are traditional Japanese playing cards. The owner of the small shop permitted us to stop by. You can look at the lovely retro designs of beautiful and fun cards.
3. Jinbo-cho Book Center (or Café Trois Bagues):
Protected content small cafés are bustling on Saturday, but if we are lucky!?
4. Yasukuni Street:
Protected content will enjoy walking the street of used bookstores and sports stores.
5. Ohya Shobo:
Protected content specialty shop for Edo-period books, antique maps, ukiyo-e, and woodblock prints. Again, the store owner allowed us to have a look even without purchasing anything!! It costs more than 10,000 yen per product.
6. Mei-Dai Street:
Protected content famous for musical instrument stores
7. Nicolai-do (Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Tokyo):
Protected content first and largest authentic Byzantine-style church in Japan was reconstructed after the Great Kanto Earthquake of Protected content .
