Art Installations #8: the Olympic Vasque
Let's continue our series on contemporary art installations by drawing the Olympic Vasque.
The monumental vasque was designed by Matthieu Lehanneur and developed in collaboration with EDF. During the day the vasque floats above water in the Tuileries before ascending to 60m above the ground at night fall.
The magical flame is created by a mist of water atomised at high pressure and lit by projectors, powered by electricity 100% and totally ecological!
Please bring your sketchbooks and own art materials and maybe a foldable chair or stool for your own comfort.
We can share our drawings afterwards over refreshments by the park.
