What if dancing could be more than entertainment?

Join Mexico City Changemakers for an afternoon of movement, connection and celebration at Museo Jumex.

As part of the museum's public program, La Nueva Red de Bailadores is opening a four-hour free-dance session where everyone is welcome to participate.

This is not a dance class, and you don't need to know how to dance.

There are no steps to learn, no competition and no pressure to perform. The invitation is simply to move, explore, connect and enjoy sharing the space with others.

La Nueva Red de Bailadores is a Mexico City collective that has been promoting free dance as a practice of community building, peace and social transformation for more than ten years.

They create horizontal spaces free from alcohol, harassment and competition, where movement becomes a way to encounter one another differently. The collective has already organized more than Protected content in streets, public squares, museums and cultural spaces across Mexico.

For Changemakers, this is also an opportunity to explore something we often forget when talking about social change:

Transformation doesn't happen only through ideas. It also happens through our bodies, relationships, joy and the ways we inhabit spaces together.

Come as you are. Dance as you are. 💃🕺
