Art Expo of Málaga, Drinks & Tapas
Let's meet to visit a special exposition of ‘Spaces and Lights’ by Málaga-born artist Paula Varona. The exhibition offers a journey through diverse cultural and everyday settings where architecture, urban memory, and the presence of the sea intertwine through painting, with light as the guiding thread.
The exhibition, comprised of 45 works, is organized around three main themes. The first focuses on the representation of Málaga, whose streets, squares, and historic buildings, such as the Cathedral, Plaza de la Merced, and the Alcazaba, are bathed in the changing light of day, revealing the complexity and dynamism of the urban landscape. Through these scenes, the artist captures the daily pulse of urban life and establishes a dialogue between architecture, nature, and urban life.
The exhibition continues with a series of seascapes depicted as calm horizons and spaces for contemplation, evoking the close relationship between coastal cities and their natural environment. The exhibition is completed with a section dedicated to museums.
We might visit another exposition, too, before drinks and tapas together.
