Kurtalan Ekspres is a Turkish Anatolian Rock Band that has collaborated with several famous lead singers, including Cem Karaca, Cahit Berkay, and Barış Manço. The band takes its name from a train named Kurtalan Express, which travels between Kurtalan and Haydarpaşa.

Furthermore, Ahmet Güvenç, a Turkish bass guitarist who has been the bassist for Kurtalan Ekspres since Protected content , is the composer of Gülpembe, a popular song of the Protected content , and one of the composers of Dönence.
