Topic:  Understanding & Coping with Pandemic Panic

Grab a drink and join us for a virtual happy hour on a Google Hangouts video conference. Let's check in, see how everyone's doing, and try to make sense of this current craziness.

Discouraged by all the empty shelves at grocery stores? Scared you'll have to use a smooth rock (or worse, your hand) after you've run out of toilet paper? Worried about the economic impact? Is "house arrest" driving you mad? What's on your mind and what are some things you're doing to cope?

Personally, I've been sitting back, trying to understand why this pandemic is bringing out such ugliness in some people. From racism and xenophobia to hoarding groceries and medical supplies - let's discuss and try to understand what causes some folks to behave like such <bleep>.

Here are just some questions I've been pondering:

- What's the psychology behind hoarding?
- Why are people so obsessed with toilet paper?
- Is the media helping or worsening people's fears?
- Are there any positives that can come out this crisis?
- Should the government FORCE a lockdown?

What do you think??

1. Be respectful.
