Engelberg Fürenalp Grotzli Snowshoe Trail
Get ready for a new adventure, everyone! At the back of the Engelberg Valley, past the waterfall, we'll find the privately-owned Fürenalpbahn that will bring us up to the lovely Grotzli snowshoe trail. Here we can enjoy snowshoeing in the quiet beauty of winter without having to share the cable car and trail with rowdy skiers.
The Grotzli trail is 3.5 km circuit and the locals estimate that anyone who is reasonably fit can complete the circuit in two hours. Join us to enjoy fresh mountain air, great conversations, and iconic views of Gross Spannort. The trail is expected to be open until the end of February.
The Fürenalpbahn and restaurant are open daily from 9. Protected content . Let's meet at the Protected content at 10:20 am. For those who have time, we can stay for a drink and a meal with friends at the Protected content
