Siebengebirge Hike

Hello everyone,

let's go for a hike through nature in Siebengebirge, with some nice views, and probably some autumn colors. We will start from Königswinter.

Facts:
- Distance: about 15 km
- Ascent: about Protected content
- Difficulty: Intermediate
- Start and finish: train station Königswinter. There will be parking close to it - however half of the parking lot is closed due to construction work
- Train connections might be a bit difficult on that day, because the RE8 train will not be going there

-Meet in Königswinter at 10:30am
The end time of the event is not accurate as it will depend on how fast we walk, how much time we take for breaks, etc.

- Participation in the event is at your own risk.
- A certain level of fitness is needed. We will take breaks, including a lunch break (picnic) - feel free to bring your snacks and something to sit on.

In order to keep you happy please:
- wear hiking shoes with good grip, suitable clothing, and bring some sun protection
- carry enough food and drinks with you (there might not be any restaurants or shops during the hike)
- be on time :-)
