On the occasion of the world celebrations of the anniversary of the birth of John Lennon: the movie IMAGINE
It restored in digital, with a new audio mix, a spectacular dolby atmosphere and with 15 minutes of exclusive new content.
The appointment, only on October 8th, 9th and 10th in Italian cinemas, will be the unique occasion for all Lennon and Beatles fans to rediscover Imagine as they had never seen or heard before, in a cinematographic collage of colors, sounds, dreams and reality. The film was produced and directed by John and Yoko who, with numerous guest stars including George Harrison, Fred Astaire, Andy Warhol, Dick Cavett, Jack Palance and Jonas Mekas, create a world of imagination as rich and moving as the music that He accompanies.
The innovative musical film presents a different visual treatment for each song and follows John and Yoko during the recording sessions of Imagine both in the United Kingdom and in New York as co-producers of the record with Phil Spector. Restored frame-by-frame from the original reels and with the remix of Paul Hicks, award-winning GRAMMY®, the event film is accompanied by 15 minutes of unreleased content, including studio footage of John and his band (including George Harrison of the Beatles, Nicky Hopkins of the Rolling Stones, Alan White of Yes and bassist Klaus Voormann, friend and fan of the Beatles since the days of Hamburg) who perform "How Do You Sleep?" And "Oh My Love" in a specially created mix for the Dolby Atmos sound surround "raw studio", which puts the viewer in the middle of the recording studio, while the band plays live.
The unique occasion to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of John Lennon, a milestone in the history of world music.
