In the Protected content Philosopher Marc Sautet pioneered bringing people together in Paris in public friendly forums where they discussed subjects ranging from Santa Claus myth to truth, to beauty, to death. Idea was to enhance thinking through discussions. Anybody could join the meetings- from cab drivers to housewives or top CEOs. Concepts discussed carried the spirit of tolerance and openness and topics of discussion were decided spontaneously at each meeting. Discussions were fun and exciting and in a short while philo-cafes started prolifering. In Protected content Sautet passed away (RIP) yet his legacy carries on today with hundreds of philo-cafe's around the world.

Several years ago, I organised a Philo-Cafe meeting at InterNations and the experience was unforgettable. (Here is a the report of that meeting: Protected content My intention is to have similar wonderful gatherings where we can expand our horisons, share our views and at the same time connect and have an enjoyable time together. So if you are up for the challenge then please do join me on Sunday.

Hope to see you there!
