An American Thanksgiving in Amsterdam
Although I've lived in the Netherlands for nearly a decade, I still miss Thanksgiving. The American holiday harks back to Protected content , when grateful pilgrims invited Native Americans (who'd helped them survive a harsh East Coast winter) to join them for a huge harvest feast. To celebrate this year, I'll be roasting two 3kg birds so I can count my blessings on this side of the pond with InterNations friends.
Join me for home-cooked roast turkey + stuffing, mashed potatoes + gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans, and apple crumble for dessert. Wine and beer, along with non-alcoholic beverages, will be served. Pre-payment required; I'll forward bank details to those who sign up and my address once I've received your bank transfer.
