Hi all,

I know its on Mothers day, so just bring your mother along. I am bringing mine.
I went last year and it was beautiful!!

You also have the chance to meet Jhaimy, the shaman from Cusco Peru, which I sometimes offer events on here with, sharing his beautiful Andean wisdom teachings.

Join C7Rays Foundation for the 4th Annual Sacred Water Walk at Rice Lake in North Vancouver.

Water is Sacred, Water is Life.

Join us for an empowering community celebration of Water. Remembering and learning from Indigenous leaders and Elders the Wisdom teachings of how to care for our Water. Join us in offering prayers of gratitude and reverence for all that the water provides.

SACRED WATER WALK - a free community event
SUNDAY MAY 13, Protected content Day)
Protected content
We begin with an opening prayer and song honouring the water and a sharing of traditional teachings connected to the Sacredness of Water. We will then walk together as a community around Rice Lake (approx. 1hr) before completing with a closing prayer and song. Women are welcome to follow the traditional teachings of wearing a long skirt for the walk as they carry the water.

All are welcome to this FREE community event. RSVP is 'optional'. This walk is an inspired morning together - please help us spread the word and people can join in the moment if they wish. The more the merrier :)

This walk is in solidarity with Sacred Water Walks which have taken place in Peterborough, ON for the past several years and the important work of Grandmother Josephine Mandamin. We honour those who have gone before us with this important work for our waters.
