Uncensored Posters | 25A Revolution and the “Hot Summer”

====NOT a guided tour====
The exhibition Uncensored Posters takes us back to the historic days of 25th April Protected content , and extends through to the intense “Hot Summer” of Protected content .
More than just posters, the works on display are visual testimonies to a time of political and social transformation. These posters were salvaged from the walls where they were first displayed and preserved in a portfolio of drawings for over five decades. Reflecting the call for freedom and expressions of both hope and defiance, they capture the essence of a Portugal in motion, newly liberated from censorship. Each piece represents an emerging voice, offering perspectives from the varied political currents of that era.
