Zabriskie Point (Michelangelo Antonioni, 1970)

A young couple is the focus of the sharp-eyed observation by the master's camera of film art. She is a secretary, whose duties can sometimes extend into her boss's bedroom. He is a former student who might be involved in the death of a police officer. The two meet; a connection develops between them; they play, love each other, and move on: He towards a tragedy, she towards an open future. And Antonioni moves towards an explosive finale, in this gripping vision of love in a climate of violence.
