Día De Los Muertos Festival 2025: Culture, Colors & Connections

🎉 Celebrate Día de los Muertos With InterNations!
This family-friendly festival is a beautiful Mexican tradition honoring loved ones who have passed through art, music, dance, and delicious food. Expect live mariachi, local Latin vendors, face painting, altar exhibits, and plenty of photo-worthy moments.
Whether you are new to the city or a seasoned local, this is the perfect chance to explore Charlotte’s creative heart, meet fellow InterNations members, and soak in the atmosphere together.
📅 Here’s our plan for the day:
☕ 1:30 PM – Meet and Greet
Gather at meeting point for introductions and a group photo. Purchase a coffee or snack to enjoy while everyone arrives.
🎨 2:00 PM – Explore the Festival
Immerse yourself in the music, colors, and costumes, or join family-friendly activities at the Kids Zone.
🚶 4:00 PM – Walk to the Parade Route
Meet back at meeting point for optional refreshments and restroom breaks before heading over as a group to find a good spot for the Catrina Parade.
💀 4:30 PM – Catrina Parade
Experience the highlight of the day with the vibrant Catrina Parade, a lively procession of painted faces, colorful costumes, and dancing that celebrates life and remembrance.
📸 5:00 PM – Evening Stroll and Photos
Take a final group photo near one of the main altars and feel free to continue exploring the festival at your own pace.
