Gender in Focus: (International Girls in Science Day)
The transition of gender concepts to models of equality for women and transformation of roles for men is a process of revival, healing and growth that is also reflected in the need to restore natural ways of living with our planet and societies.
In this event, you will have the opportunity to express yourself and promote an inclusive perspective of gender. How can we as men and women contribute in our individual ways as complementary, supportive actors in the world? What do you feel are your strengths that you bring to promote your identity as a man or woman?
How it works:
1. Choose an idea that you would like to promote or challenge.
2. Imagine yourself communicating the idea visually to an audience.
3. Create a simple context where you can express the message in front of the camera.
4. Have fun creating and sharing your idea!
The online photos will be captured during the event and shared with your consent, in a professional context to understand and learn about different ways of living.
Words will complement your pose, strengthen your ideas, and create a meaningful narrative to challenge stereotypes, misconceptions and strong beliefs.
The event will be organised in partnership with Christian Kuno, Australian photographer with more than 10 years experience.
