Visit to Valencia City Hall Air-Raid Shelter

Join us on Friday afternoon for a free cultural visit to one of Valencia’s most moving historical sites: the air-raid shelter preserved inside Valencia City Hall.

Built in Protected content the Spanish Civil War, this shelter was originally designed to protect up to Protected content from the school located next to the City Hall building. Today, the restored space allows visitors to understand how civilians in Valencia lived through the bombings of Protected content , when the city suffered repeated air and naval attacks.

This is a meaningful and accessible way to discover a lesser-known part of Valencia’s history — not the usual postcard Valencia, but the Valencia that endured, resisted, and remembered.

- Please arrive on time. Entry will depend on the availability at the entrance, and we will go in together as soon as the staff allows us.
