Explore and celebrate Africa’s rich and diverse culture with live music, films, art exhibitions and dance workshops led by Canadian and international artists.

8pm Empress Nyiringango,
Empress Nyiringango is an Ottawa-based Rwandan singer/songwriter with a message of faith, resilience, and healing. Her philosophy is to celebrate Canadian diversity and coexist respectfully in the healing journey of fellow immigrants who fled war and all forms of atrocities. Her music uplifts and raises awareness of the impact of cultural heritage. On stage, she is joined by JUNO Award-winning musicians Aron Nitunga, Kofi Ackah, Ian De Souza and Vincent Nsengiyumva Empress.
