TIFF in the Park
Let's enjoy a good movie under the stars.
Bring a blanket/pillow and enjoy the screening of "Beans" a must see Protected content drama film directed by Mohawk-Canadian filmmaker Tracey Deer. It explores the Protected content Crisis at Kanesatake, which Deer lived through as a child, through the eyes of a young Mohawk girl (nicknamed "Beans") whose perspective on life is radically changed by these events.
Pre-show - a traditional hoop dance by a solo dancer from the Mohawk Nation.
