Ravine Nature Walk
Toronto has many ravines, areas under a canopy of trees which offer peace, an escape from the chaotic life of the city.
Let's explore one of these ravines in the downtown hub and enjoy what it has to offer.
We start with an indigenous ceremony lead by Vivian Recollet, an Anishinaabe grandmother and pay tribute to mother earth. We will join in the sharing of drinking water and strawberries, symbols of unity, gratitude and respect for the earth and its abundance.
We will walk in the Ravine approximately 30 min and will come upon a picnic area where we will gather and enjoy a snack/drink and connect with each other in making ribbon braid bracelets for each other.
We will then conclude our walk and leave the ravine relaxed and aware of a good area where we can reconnect with nature and each other.
