This one is given by Javier Reverte, a well-known Spanish writer, journalist, and avid traveller (En mares salvajes. Un viaje al Ártico Protected content Banderas en La Niebla ( Protected content ) so it may fill up quick. Unfortunately, these talks are in Spanish.
(Information from the Foundation´s site)
The Artic, once a land to be explored, unknown and mysterious, has now become a geostrategic spot where important "battles" are being fought for the future of the planet.
The story of its conquest is a fascinating tale of the frenzied and hellish race that left shipwrecks, murders, suicides, and even cannibalism in its wake.
And who better than Javier Reverte to tells us all about it?? Afterwards, we´ll discuss the talks (or not) over drinks somewhere nearby.
You NEED to register with the foundation´s website. In the lower right corner you must click on " > Hacer inscripción online " and fill out the fields with asterisks. Otherwise, you will not be granted entrance as the number of seats is limited.
