The Science of Happiness (In Spanish)
Join me at this downtown Café for a Universidad Autónoma de Madrid-sponsored talk on existing scientific evidence about premises like...does money give you happiness, are people from certain countries happier than from other countries, are married people happier than single people or whether being happy helps us stay healthy and live longer lives. The speaker will differentiate between perceived and experienced happiness and how they both relate differently with various aspects of our lives.
Dr. Miret, faculty member at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, researches the epidemiology of mental disorders, suicidal behaviours, and subjective wellbeing. She is the principal investigator of three projects on mental health and wellbeing.
Please arrive on time for a brief meet&greet before the talk and to get good seats. These talks get full fast. The café offers food & drinks.
