Something Else! is a dynamic musical journey through soul jazz, led by Vincent Herring, who performs with a top-notch septet of musicians. In Vincent's words, the group brings together "the best musicians playing good music and living it completely – an energy that is truly contagious." The shows are a celebration of soul jazz, mixing new versions of classic songs with original compositions, all rich in moving, funky, and masterful improvisations that captivate the audience.

Considered the "Jazz Super Group," Something Else! continues to redefine soul jazz under Herring's direction. The ensemble features Freddie Hendrix or Jeremy Pelt, Wayne Escoffery or James Carter, Paul Bollenback, Dave Kikoski, Essiet Essiet, and Lewis Nash.
