Choral Concert: Ontario Inspired by Pope Francis's Laudato Si'

Come and join us for a choral performance of "For Our Common Home: Resounding Ecojustice", an oratorio inspired by Pope Francis's encyclical Laudato Si' (On Care for Our Common Home), which calls for a global dialogue and action on environmental issues. The oratorio, blending classical, jazz, gospel, and klezmer idioms, with vocal styles ranging from whispered text to full-throated anthems, creates a powerful and beautiful message on earth, common home.
Conducted by Edward Elwyn Jones, the concert features Protected content mixed choir, and solo vocalists and instrumentalists Farayi Makek, J’adon Brooks, Heiraza, and Abigale Reisman with jazz artists Stan Strickland, John McGee, Dave Clark, and George Lernis.
Tickets are available on the evening of performance at Protected content
