Join us for a flamenco quartet concert; for a couple of hours, we can pretend that we are in sunny Andalusia rather than cold Chicago!

Born in Mexico and raised in Chicago, Andrea Salcedo is the first female flamenco guitarist from Mexico. She's currently residing in Madrid, Spain where she studies her third year at the Fundación Casa Patas Flamenco Conservatory. She has performed throughout the world and has received acclaim in “El País”, one of the most important Spanish-language newspapers. Andrea is presenting her debut album titled “Fuente y Cauce de la Guitarra Flamenca”, produced with renowned guitarist Jesus de Rosario. She'll be joined by special guests Hugo Salcedo (flamenco guitar), Diego "El Negro" Alvarez (percussion), Victor Garcia (trumpet, Freddy Quintero (bass).
